The Jainex Group was born in the early 70s when Mr. Hansraj Kochar, father of Mr. Pratap Kochar, began financing heavy equipment vehicles. The Group’s first financing venture was set up as a proprietorship called M/S Jainex India on A. T. Road, in the heart of the commercial hub of Guwahati City. Since then, there has been no looking back.
The original firm, M/S Jainex India, soon became a larger and more diverse company to meet the growing needs of its financing activities. In 1989, the Group affected their first diversification of their financing industry by establishing a Distribution and C & F business unit at Zoo Road in Guwahati, near the Capital Complex of Assam in Dispur under the name of Jainex Agencies Private Limited.
The success of the Group can be judged by it's profit turnover that has been growing at a rapid rate, enabling it to acquire several other operational units and areas of business in cranes, heavy equipment and ODC transportation for India.
To date, the Jainex Group comprises:
Jainex India Limited: the flagship company of the Group that specialises in the financing of vehicles of all types, including ODC transportation for Tata Motors Limited and LPG carriers for Indian Oil Corporation Limited which are used in delivery to North East states and remote regions India-wide.
Jainex Pariwahan Private Limited: specialises in providing the heavy equipment and LPG carriers for Maruti Udyog Limited, as well as the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Jainex Motor Finance Limited: concentrates mainly on financing activities in the heavy equipment industry.
Jainex Agencies Private Limited: specialises in distribution, carrying and forwarding activities for a range of white goods companies.
Jainex Securities Private Limited: concentrates on financing and investment activities in the heavy equipment vehicle industry.
Shikha Logistics Private Limited: has carved a niche in transporting bulk quantities of Indian Oil Corporation and Hero Honda Motors petroleum products to all regions of India.
Arham Finiance (I) Private Limited: concentrates mainly on industry-related financing and investment activities.
Arham Capital Private Limited: also concentrates mainly on financing and investment activities.
